The Cultural Heritage Administration plans to hold an event at Jongmyo Shrine to commemorate the registration of the Royal Tomb of Joseon as a World Heritage Site.

This event highlights the cultural heritage value and meaning of the royal tombs of Joseon, which are registered as World Heritage sites

It is held to inform the public.

It will be held on July 15th (Wednesday) and admission to the seedling is free on the day.

Order of the event to commemorate the graduation

1. Eoga procession (60 minutes) 13:30~14:30 Gyeongbokgung Palace → Jongmyo Eoga procession reproduced

(Gyeongbokgung Palace-Jogyesa Temple Front-Jongro 1, 2, 3ga-Jongmyo)

2. Main event (80 minutes)

15:00~15:10 (10 minutes) Registration report and commemorative speech

15:10~15:20 (10 minutes) progress report and video screening

15:20 to 16:20 (60 min) High-grade and eight-day dance

행사 Information on restricting viewing of Jongmyo on the day of the event

1. There is no cultural property information on the day of the event.

2. The Jongmyo Archives will be temporarily closed on the day of the event.

3. Due to the warehousing and transportation of Jongmyojegi, the Hyangdae Office (Education Promotion Center) will be temporarily closed from July 13 to 17.
