Introduction to the 3rd Royal Culture Festival (2017.4.28-5.7)

The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation will hold the 3rd Royal Culture Festival at the 4th Palace and Jongmyo Shrine from April 28 (Fri) to May 7 (Sun), a cultural heritage utilization festival that offers a glimpse of court culture based on the palace's location and historical background.

During the 3rd Royal Culture Festival, events to greet God are held at Jongmyo Shrine. In addition to Jongmyo Jerye and Jongmyo Jeryeak, which were selected as UNESCO's masterpieces of oral and intangible heritage in 2001, Myohyeonrye, the only national ceremony held at Jongmyo, involving royal women, will also be reproduced.

It will be open from April 28 (Fri) to May 7 (Sun), and from May 2nd to May 5th, only pre-bookers can watch the Jongmyo Jeryeak Night Performance.
