We inform you of the entrance and viewing of Jongmyo Shrine during the Lunar New Year holiday as follows.

종 Information on admission to Jongmyo Shrine

- During the Lunar New Year holiday (2.9~2.11), Jongmyo Shrine is open without holidays.

- Anyone can enter Jongmyo Shrine for free on Lunar New Year's Day (2.10 (Sunday).

- During the Lunar New Year holiday, people wearing hanbok can enter for free from 2.9 (Sat) to 2.11 (Mon).

종 Information on viewing Jongmyo Shrine

- Since May 1, 2010, Jongmyo has been conducting a "part-time viewing" at the designated entrance time according to the guidance of a cultural property commentator.

You can make a reservation on the Jongmyo website,

Up to 300 people can watch at the site according to the entrance time.

- On Lunar New Year's Day (2.10), it is operated as a "general viewing" and can be viewed at any fixed time.

(No reservation is made on the Jongmyo website, and cultural heritage commentary is not available.)

- During the holiday season, 2.11 (Mon) is operated as a "part-time viewing" and you can make a reservation on the Jongmyo website.

- 2.9 (Sat): General viewing (The palace guardian's commentary on cultural assets is not operated)
