Here's how to enter and watch Christmas and Sinjeong Jongmyo Shrine.

- Jongmyo Shrine is open (paid) on Christmas (12.25, Tuesday) and New Year's Day (1.1. Tuesday).

- On the day of the New Year's Day, people wearing hanbok can enter for free.

종 Information on viewing Jongmyo Shrine

- Since May 1, 2010, Jongmyo has been conducting a "part-time viewing" at the designated entrance time according to the guidance of a cultural property commentator.

You can make a reservation on the Jongmyo website, and up to 300 people can watch it at the site according to the entrance time.

- On Christmas (12.25 Tuesday) and New Year's (1.1 Tuesday), it is operated as a "general viewing" and can be viewed at any fixed time.

(No reservation is made on the Jongmyo website, and cultural heritage commentary is not available.)

- The viewing time is until 17:30, and you can enter until 16:30.
