Notification of the complete closure of Gwanghwamun and the change of pedestrian path due to the restoration of Gwanghwamun Woldae (9.4 (Monday) to 9.27 (Wednesday)

For the smooth progress of Gwanghwamun Woldae restoration work and the safety management of pedestrians

Please refer to the full closure of Gwanghwamun entrance and the change of walking paths.

- Period: September 4 to September 27, 2023 (24 days)

- Byeon Walkway: Entrance door in front of the main gate of the Palace Museum (Yongseongmun Gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace) or

Entrance to the parking lot of Gyeongbokgung Palace (Gyeongbokgung Hyeopsaengmun Gate)

- The entrance to Gwanghwamun is completely closed and the pedestrian path is maintained even during night viewing

- Changing the movement path of the gatekeeper's shift ceremony
