Special viewing information for Gyeonghoeru in the second half of 2023

Please refer to the special tour of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in the second half of 2023 as follows.

○ Event Period: (Second half) August 2nd (Wed) to October 30th (Mon) 2023

○ Admission fee: Free (view after purchasing a ticket to Gyeongbokgung Palace)

○ Viewing time: 4 times a day (10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 16:00) ※ It takes 40 minutes per episode

※ Closed: Every Tuesday, legal holiday, 8.16 (Wednesday), 10.4 (Wednesday).

○ Reservation method

- Internet reservation on a first-come, first-served basis (Gyeongbokgung Palace website -> reservation/application -> special viewing of Gyeonghoeru)

○ Number of reservations

- 35 people per session: up to 2 people per person (from 7 years old to 1 person)

※ Children under the age of 6 are not allowed to enter

○ Reservation available time

- From 10:00 a.m. to one day before the desired date of viewing (※Not applicable on the day of viewing)

※Resume reservation date – Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 10:00 a

※The viewing may be suspended without notice due to the circumstances of the Gyeongbokgung Palace.

○ How to watch it

- Watching under the guidance of a commentator (only Korean commentary)

○ Waiting place and time

- In front of the information board (attached file) of Hamhongmun Gate, Gyeonghoeru, until 5 minutes before viewing

○ Precautions for special viewing at Gyeonghoeru Pavilion

- For the protection of cultural heritage and smooth viewing, the tour is conducted under the guidance of a cultural heritage commentator,

There is no foreign language commentary.

- Gathering place next to Gyeonghoeru 5 minutes before viewing time with a reservation card (output, capture, and photograph)

※ You will not be able to enter after the tour begins.

※ You can check your reservation on-site with the email address you entered without bringing your reservation confirmation card.

- Visitors can participate from the age of 7 to maintain order and protect cultural heritage. You cannot accompany infants under the age of 6.

- If you can't watch it due to a change in circumstances after the reservation, please cancel the reservation for others.

- If you do not cancel your reservation, you may be restricted from viewing Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in the future.

- We would like to inform you that reservations that exceed 2 people per person in the same round will be canceled without further notice.

- In the pavilion on the second floor of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, please wear slippers provided by the Gyeongbokgung Palace Management Office to protect cultural heritage and safety of visitors.
