2023 Gyeonghoeru Special Viewing Guide

We inform you of the special viewing of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in 2023, so please refer to it for viewing.

○ Event period: April 1st to October 30th (6 months) ※ Closed in July

○ Admission fee: Free (view after purchasing a ticket to Gyeongbokgung Palace)

○ Viewing time: 4 times a day (10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 16:00) ※ It takes 40 minutes per episode

※ Every Tuesday, legal holidays (excluding Sundays), 7.1. to 7.31 (hot weather) are closed

※ 6.7, 8.16, 10.4. Holiday

○ Reservation method

- Internet reservation on a first-come, first-served basis (Gyeongbokgung Palace website -> reservation/application -> special viewing of Gyeonghoeru)

○ Number of reservations

- 30 people per session: up to 2 people per person (from 7 years old to 1 person)

※ Children under the age of 6 are not allowed to enter

○ Reservation available time

- 7 days before the desired date of viewing to 1 day before the desired date of viewing (※Not applicable on the day of viewing)

※First reservation start date – March 25, 2023, 10:00 AM

※The viewing may be suspended without notice due to the circumstances of the Gyeongbokgung Palace.

○ How to watch it

- Watching under the leadership of a commentator (only Korean commentary)

○ Waiting place and time

- In front of the information board (attached file) of Hamhongmun Gate, Gyeonghoeru, until 5 minutes before viewing

○ Precautions for special viewing at Gyeonghoeru Pavilion

- For the protection of cultural properties and smooth viewing, the tour is conducted under the guidance of a cultural property commentator,

There is no foreign language commentary.

- Gathering place next to Gyeonghoeru 5 minutes before viewing time with a reservation card (output, capture, and photograph)

Please wait at <Hamhongmun Gate, in front of the information board (attached file)>.

※ You are not allowed to enter when the special viewing of Gyeonghoeru.

※ You can check your reservation on-site with the email address you entered without bringing your reservation confirmation card.

- Visitors can participate from the age of 7 to maintain order and protect cultural assets.

You cannot accompany infants under the age of 6.

- If it is impossible to watch due to a change in circumstances after a reservation, for others

Please cancel the reservation.

- If you do not cancel your reservation, you may be restricted from viewing Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in the future.

- In the pavilion on the second floor of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, for the protection of cultural assets and the safety of visitors

Please wear slippers provided by the Gyeongbokgung Palace Management Office.
