2010 Our Palace Guard Children's Palace Experience School Guide

The "Children's Palace Experience School" is organized to know the precious meaning and value of cultural heritage that can be learned and felt in palaces and Jongmyo Shrine based on the experience of guiding activities. The contents are organized as a subject-specific learning program to help children understand the basic understanding of the palace, royal life history, and modern history easily and interestingly.

The Children's Palace Experience School with the Palace Guard will be a valuable time to learn and experience the history and royal culture of the Joseon Dynasty and understand the right meaning and value of historical culture for the next generation of elementary school students.

■ 2010 Children's Palace Experience School

○ Date: February 22nd to February 27th, 2010 (5 times in total)

February 22nd (Monday)-Gyeongbokgung Palace / February 24th (Wednesday) - Changgyeonggung Palace / February 25th (Thursday) - Deoksugung Palace

February 26 (Fri) - Jongmyo / February 27 (Sat) - Palace Museum

○ Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m

○ Target: 3rd to 6th graders of elementary school (100 first-come, first-served - 50 to 60 parents)

○ Supplies: Warm clothes, thermos bottle (water bottle), writing utensils (pencils, colored pencils)

○ Participation fee: 100,000 won (including admission fee, textbooks, supplementary textbooks, insurance fees, and souvenirs)
