[Public Offering Subject] A public contest for the name of the "National Symbol Street" from Gwanghwamun to the Han River, containing the meaning and symbolism of the national representative
※ In the contest, both the name of the national symbolic street and the reason for the proposal must be written
※ The reason for the name proposal is also reflected in the examination
※ The public offering is limited to two works per person
[Qualification for Participation] Any Korean citizen can participate
[Reception period] August 3rd, 2009? August 23rd (until 18:00)
[Reception method] Internet reception: Access www.nationalstreet.kr and receive applications for the name of the national symbolic street
Mail reception: (Woo 135-080) Name of the National Symbol Street of Korea Urban Design Planning, New Building No. 708, Korea Science and Technology Center, 635-4 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul a team in charge of public offering
※ Postal acceptance is valid until postmark on August 19 (Wednesday)
※ Required entries for postal receipt: Name of proposal, reason for proposal (within 300 characters), name of applicant, contact information (phone number)
※ If there are multiple applicants under the same name, priority shall be given on a first-come, first-served basis, but the Examination Committee shall determine the sole winner in consideration of the reasons for the proposal, etc., and other detailed criteria for examination shall be determined by the Examination Committee
※ One person cannot receive duplicate awards, and the prize money includes tax
※ Award details of applicants under the same name for the winning work
- Best name 100,000 won (gift certificate), Excellent name 50,000 won (gift certificate), Encouragement name 20,000 won (gift certificate)
- The examination committee selects a number of applicants for the same name of the award after reviewing the reasons for the proposal and awards them
※ The examination of the contest shall be conducted by appointing an external public official, and the judges shall be announced in advance to ensure fairness in the contest
※ Names containing "National Symbol Street" and existing names are excluded from the screening
※ The name selected as the award-winning work will be used through internal review and expert consultation in the future
※ All rights to award-winning works belong to the National Building Policy Committee, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government
