2009 Palace Youth Culture School Held

In 2009, Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Palace Youth Culture School will be held.

The Gyeongbokgung Palace Management Office (Director: Park Jong-gap) holds the Gogung Youth Culture School to provide growing youth with an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of cultural assets by experiencing our proud cultural heritage. I hope many interested teenagers will participate.

□ Event Overview

Title: 2009 Gogung Youth Culture School

h Period: '09.07.27 (Monday) to '09.08.17 (Monday), every Monday from 09:30 to 12:30 (3 hours)

Place h: Elementary school students (Sujeongjeon), middle and high school students (charity hall)

참가 Participants: 100 elementary school students every week, 100 middle and high school students every week, and about 20 underprivileged people every week

교육 Education contents: Theory (1 hour) and field (2 hours) on the history and cultural heritage of Gyeongbokgung Palace

□ How to participate and other matters

- Elementary school students can apply for education only by accepting reservations on the Internet. (On-site application is not possible)

- A pop-up window on the Gyeongbokgung Palace website (http://www.royalpalace.go.kr ) has been booked online.

※ Internet reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday before the training day (every time is closed early)

※ Only one student can apply for an online reservation for elementary school students once applied.

- Middle and high school students will apply on a first-come, first-served basis from 09:00 on the day of education.

- Admission is free for students (only one guardian is free for elementary school students)

- The underprivileged (institution) apply by wire or fax to the management office (3700-3912)
