A storytelling program for kindergarteners in 2017 [The Story of Gyeongbokgung Palace]
The Gyeongbokgung Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Woo Kyung-joon) will hold a storytelling program "The Story of Gyeongbokgung Palace told by grandmother" every Tuesday from May to June and September to October at three halls, Gyeongbokgung Geunjeongjeon, Sajeongjeon, and Gyeonghoeru.
In this program, guardians from the palace's guide commentary volunteer group "Rediscovery of Korea" will be narrated as storytelling instructors to tell educational and interesting stories about Gyeongbokgung Palace Hall at the kindergarten's level.
Children who participated in this program will have the opportunity to change into the royal robes of the Joseon Dynasty, walk around the palace with Gu Yeon-hwa, and experience Gyeongbokgung Palace's aunt vividly.
First of all, ▲ Geunjeongjeon Hall touches the animal statue of the twelve gods carved on the railing of the Woldae and learns the meaning of it. ▲ Go up to Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, the largest wooden pavilion in Korea, and listen to the story of the palace at that time while looking at the beautiful scenery. In addition, in front of the circumstances where King ▲ was meeting with his officials after watching his daily work, he looked into the sundial "Angbuilgu" and learned how people in the past checked the time.

The program reservation period for the first half of the year is from 10 a.m. on April 26 (Wed) to 6 p.m. on June 12 (Mon).
