Let's wear Hanbok and enjoy the night view of the old palace with the royal cultural festival
The Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Na Sun-hwa) will hold the second night special tour of the Palace at Gyeongbokgung Palace (closed on Tuesday) and Changgyeonggung Palace (closed on Monday) from the 30th to June 2nd. In particular, the night view of the palace will be held with the Palace Cultural Festival (4.30.~5.8.), a representative cultural heritage festival that showcases high-quality palace culture, allowing visitors to enjoy the rich night view of the palace in the city.

The royal cultural festival, which will be held during a special night tour of the palace, is ▲ Media Facade, where music and colorful light feast are held in the background of Gyeongbokgung Palace, ▲ Royal Culture Exchange Performance from 3 Asian Countries, ▲ Gyeonghoeru Night Concert, ▲ Changgyeongjeon Hall.
* Media facade: a combination of 'facade' and 'media' that refers to the exterior wall of a building, and a technique of displaying media images using a building as a screen
In particular, for the popularization and globalization of hanbok, anyone wearing hanbok can enter the night special viewing for free. In addition, it plans to increase the number of on-site sales tickets for foreign tourists visiting Korea by about twice compared to the first night special viewing.
The night special viewing time is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (9 p.m. admission deadline), and during the night special viewing period, the National Palace Museum can also be viewed until 10 p.m. in time for the night special viewing period of Gyeongbokgung Palace.(Except Monday, the closing day of the museum, and Tuesday, the closing day of Gyeongbokgung Palace. However, during the Royal Culture Festival, it is open until 10 p.m. on Mondays to Tuesdays.)
Special tickets for the night view of the Palace can be booked on the "Auction Ticket" (Internet) and "Interpark Ticket" (Internet, phone). ▲ Special night view (4.30.~5.8) during the Royal Culture Festival will start at 2 p.m. on the 20th ▲ Special night view (5.9.~6.2) after the Royal Culture Festival on the 27th. Internet and phone reservations can enter after checking the identity of the reservation person at the ticket office on the day of viewing.
