The Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Na Sun-hwa) will hold a special autumn night tour of the old palace for 15 days at ▲Gyeongbokgung Palace (10.17.-11.2/Tuesday closed) ▲ Changgyeonggung Palace (10.16-11.1/ Monday closed). In particular, during this autumn night's special viewing period, various cultural events are prepared, so you can enjoy a beautiful night view of the old palace in the city center and abundant attractions.

The night special viewing time is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (9 p.m. admission deadline), and the National Palace Museum will also be extended to 10 p.m. during the night special viewing period of Gyeongbokgung Palace (excluding museum closing days-Monday and Gyeongbokgung holidays-Tuesday). If reservations for special night viewing are not made, Deoksugung Palace (admission until 8 p.m., viewing until 9 p.m., and closing on Monday) can be used.

The maximum number of visitors per day is Gyeongbokgung Palace?There are 2,500 people each at Changgyeonggung Palace, and the purchase of tickets is limited to four per person. The general public can only make Internet reservations, and senior citizens aged 65 or older can only purchase tickets on-site or by phone, and foreigners can only purchase tickets on-site (no phone reservation). Internet reservations will start at 2 p.m. on October 8 at "Auction Ticket" and "Interpark Ticket," and Internet and phone reservations can enter after checking the identity of the reservation at the ticket office on the day of viewing.

Admission fees are the same as general viewing (3,000 won for Gyeongbokgung Palace and 1,000 won for Changgyeonggung Palace). Free viewing is only applicable to 50 people with national merit and disabilities, and visitors can enter on a first-come, first-served basis if they present their national merit certificate and disability certificate at the site without prior reservation.

During the viewing period, various genres of music, including traditional Korean music and classical music, will be available at Gyeongbokgung Palace from October 16 to 30, and the Twinkle Palace Concert by young Korean classical musicians will be held for two days from October 31 to November 1.

At Changgyeonggung Palace, a Korean traditional music fusion performance that blends with the quiet atmosphere of the palace will be held every Friday to Sunday (9 times in total) during the night special viewing period, and media art based on the women's culture of the Joseon royal family will also be displayed. In addition, from October 20th to 22nd, various performances will be held with masters in each field under the theme of "Gogung Muakjeon (舞傳宮위樂—)—Before the Great Time."

The Korean traditional music performances and media art, which will be held during this night's special viewing period, will be sponsored by LG Household & Health Care (the "Hu" brand) as one of the social contributions to expand opportunities for cultural enjoyment.

On the other hand, special night viewing can also be participated in volunteer activities. From the 23rd, the palace management office will openly recruit individuals and organizations interested in volunteering for cultural heritage.
