The Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Na Sun-hwa) will open palaces such as Gyeongbokgung Palace (excluding the sponsorship of Changdeokgung Palace), Jongmyo Shrine, and Joseon Royal Tomb for free on the 19th, Lunar New Year's Day, and allow visitors to freely visit Jongmyo Shrine during the Lunar New Year holiday (2.18-22).

In addition, during the Lunar New Year holiday, a cultural event was prepared for visitors to participate in. Ondol Experience and New Year's Greeting Event will be held at Hamhwadang and Jipgyeongdang in Gyeongbokgung Palace for three days from the 18th to the 20th to experience ondol by lighting a fire in the furnace and giving New Year's greetings to the elderly.

In addition, visitors can enjoy traditional folk games such as yutnori and tuho by visiting Deoksugung Palace, Yeongneung Royal Tomb (Sejongwang Historic Site Management Office, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do), Hyeonchungsa Temple (Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do), and Chilbaekichong (Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do).
