Information on the 2014 Royal Culture Festival
The Cultural Heritage Administration will hold the 2014 Royal Culture Festival Demonstration Project as follows to prepare a venue for festivals with the people using palaces and court culture.
About 30 palace utilization programs will be held at once during the festival so that participants can experience various programs at once. I hope a lot of people who are interested will participate.
: Period: September 20, 2014 to 28. (9 days)
* September 19 (Fri) 20:00, the eve of the festival will be held at Gwanghwamun Square

궁궐 Major programs by palace
- Gyeongbokgung Palace: Permanent exhibition hall, Gwanghwamun traditional games, open events for important intangible cultural properties, changing ceremony of gatekeepers, tea ceremony experience of Jagyeongjeon, demonstration of making Janggo pottery, exhibition of traditional ceramics, treasure hunt in the palace, and costume experience
- Changdeokgung Palace: Installation Art Project 'Sound of Secrets', a book from the background, listening to Korean music at the old palace, Joseon Dynasty's royal food exhibition, and Injeongjeon's interior opening
- Changgyeonggung Palace: Changgyeonggung Sori Scenery, Walking on the Palace's Daily Life, Haminjeong Gugak Performance, Tongmyeongjeon Picture Stimulation
- Deoksugung Palace: Deoksugung Palace Pungryu, GungyeongyeonSashimi, "Uigwe, Eight-Day Festival" movie screening, reception of the Korean Empire's foreign corporation, listening to Korean music at the palace, and treasure hunting in the palace
- Jongmyo: Jongmyo Myohyeonrye, Jongmyo Jeryeak Night Performance (Paid), Jongmyo Daeje ritual experience, Jongmyo Jeryeak with commentary
- Other: Gwanghwamun Media Facade, Hanyang City Wall Tour, Academic Seminar

- Some changes may be made to the event schedule.
- Night events can be canceled in case of rain.(In case of rain, cancellation will be announced on the website of the Royal Culture Festival two days before the event.)
- Some programs are limited to pre-bookers and first-come, first-served participants.

▶ The Secret Voice of Changdeokgung Palace: Visitors sponsored by Changdeokgung Palace
▶ Treasure Hunt in the Palace (Gyeongbokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace): 500 people on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 p.m. on the day of the event
▶ In addition, the Changgyeonggung Palace night program is limited to reservations for the night opening of Changgyeonggung Palace, and listening to Korean music and visiting Hanyangdoseong at Changdeokgung Palace are for reservations in advance.
