Information on adjusting the viewing time of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and the National Palace Museum

- August 16 (Sat) 09:00-14:00 stop viewing / normal viewing after 14:00-

The Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Na Sun-hwa) will partially adjust the viewing time of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and the National Palace Museum on Saturday, August 16, the day of the event of Pope Francis' visit to Korea.

Visitors to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and the National Palace Museum will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 16, and normal viewing will be available after 2 p.m.

The adjustment of the viewing time is made to relieve the inconvenience of visitors and prevent safety accidents as the Sibokmisa venue (Gwanghwamun Square ↔ City Hall Square) is closed from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition, it will continue to guide visitors to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and the National Palace Museum through the Cultural Heritage Administration's website (www.cha.go.kr ), notices and pop-up windows.
