2014 Gyeonghoeru Special Observation Notice
We inform you of the special viewing plan for Gyeonghoeru in 2014 as follows.
1. Period: April to October 2014 (7 months)
* April 2, 2014 (Wednesday) Gyeonghoeru Pavilion (March 27, 2014 (Thu) 10:00 reservation)
2. How to watch: Advance reservation system
3. Reservation method
경복궁 Reservation on Gyeongbokgung Palace website (80 people per session): Up to 10 people per person can be reserved
- From 6 days to 1 day before the desired viewing date (*not applicable on the viewing day)
외국 Phone reservation for foreigners (20 people per session)
- Reception at Gyeongbokgung Palace Information Room (02-3700-3904,3905)
4. Viewing time
평일 Weekdays (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) 3 times: 10 o'clock, 14 o'clock, and 16 o'clock
주말 Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 4 times: 10 o'clock, 11 o'clock, 14 o'clock, and 16 o'clock
* 30 to 40 minutes per session
5. Korean guide commentary
문화 CultureViewing at the guidance of a guide commentator for the re-protection and the safety of visitors
* Individual commentary is not allowed inside Gyeonghoeru to maintain viewing order
6. Precautions
출력 You have to wait at the east gate of Gyeonghoeru (Hamhongmun) 10 minutes before the viewing time with the printed reservation card.
The pavilion on the second floor of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion is worn over shoes to protect cultural assets
You need to change into slippers. (Provided on-site such as shoes)
* Visitors wearing fluffy shoes such as high heels can only use slippers.
