Information on viewing Gyeongbokgung Palace during the Chuseok holiday

On the occasion of Chuseok, our own holiday, Gyeongbokgung Palace will open free of charge on September 19 (Thursday), the day of Chuseok. In addition, free admission is available only for visitors wearing hanbok on September 18 (Wednesday) and September 20 (Fri).

Gyeongbokgung Palace commentary guide and special viewing of Gyeonghoeru will not be held on the day of Chuseok on September 19 (Thursday), and you will be able to see the commentary guide and Gyeonghoeru normally on September 18 (Wednesday) and September 20 (Friday). However, on the 20th (Friday), volunteer group commentary guidance (13:00, 14:00, 15:00) will not be held.

On the day of Chuseok, Gyeongbokgung Palace guidebooks are not sold separately for free. Therefore, please visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace website on the Internet or smartphone and download and use the guidebook in the viewing information.
