Enjoy the taste of royal court and the taste of pottery
- At 11 p.m. on Saturday, the Gyeongbokgung Jango - Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Byun Young-seop) will hold a "Gungjungjang Making" event at 11 p.m. on the 20th, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yoo Jin-ryong). In this event, Han Bok-ryeo, a functional holder of the 38th Joseon Dynasty royal cuisine, will give a lecture on King Jeongjo's surasang recorded in <Wonhaeng Eulmyojeong-ri Uigwe>, which records Hyegyeonggung Hong's 60th birthday, and demonstrate the royal court and Jang kimchi making using the stored Janggo last year. It also provides visitors with an opportunity to taste kimchi made with soy sauce and seasonal food. Even after the "Gungjungjang Making" event, Gyeongbokgung Ganggo will hold various events such as demonstrating the production of traditional earthenware in May and September, and lectures, demonstrations, and tasting of royal food, which were not well known to the general audience. In the future, when Sojubang (the place where food was made in the palace) is completed, it is expected to develop into a more diverse royal food culture program.
