Notification of Gyeongbokgung Palace opening at night in the second half of 2012

As part of the "Four Living Grand Palace, Making Jongmyo" project, Gyeongbokgung Palace will be opened at night to promote the beauty and excellence of the old palace to Koreans and foreigners and to promote opportunities to enjoy cultural heritage.

1. Opening period: 2012.10.3 (Wed) to 2012.10.7 (Sun) / 5 days

2. Open range: Gwanghwamun, Heungryemun, Geunjeongmun, Geunjeongjeon (National Treasure No. 223), and Gyeonghoeru (National Treasure No. 224) areas

3. Opening hours: 18:00-22:00 Night opening (※21:00 Entrance closed)

- "There are many visitors at the closing time of the 21:00 entrance, so please come leisurely."

* Gyeongbokgung Palace is operated as a free viewing system.

* Following the daytime viewing (09:00 to 18:00), night viewing (18:00 to 22:00) is also possible.

* Admission to Gyeongbokgung Palace is 3,000 won for adults and free for teenagers.
