Exploring Gyeongbokgung Palace! I can do it by myself

- Production and distribution of our Gyeongbokgung Palace guidebook for teenagers -

The Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Kim Chan) produced and distributed our Gyeongbokgung Palace guidebook, "Our Gyeongbokgung Palace," which will easily guide teenagers visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace during the summer vacation.

This information notebook was produced for visitors to the youth palace, which is increasing due to the five-day school week and free viewing of the youth palace under the age of 18. Breaking away from the preconceived notion that the palace is a difficult space to understand, it suggests a way to explore the palace that can be easily and interestingly viewed by teenagers alone.

It consists of a general explanation of Gyeongbokgung Palace and four major areas. Along with the explanation of major temples by region, historical facts and stories of characters familiar to teenagers were explained in a fun and easy-to-understand manner, making the palace a familiar space.

It also presented missions and quizzes that teenagers can solve on their own, and included simple and easy phrases, interesting characters, and illustration maps to suit youth sensibilities. It consists of a design that teenagers can be interested in, and it is made in the form of a small notebook of 32 pages, 11cm wide and 17cm long, to make it easy to carry.

The guidebook for "Our Gyeongbokgung Palace" can be received free of charge by visiting the information room of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and it will be posted on the website of the Cultural Heritage Administration and Gyeongbokgung Management Office (announcement) so that anyone can easily access and use it.
