The special exhibition of the Korean Empire History Museum in 2020, which has been postponed due to COVID-19, will be held as follows, so please refer to it and enjoy it.
1. Exhibition Overview
- Exhibition Name: The Imperial Palace of the Korean Empire
- The theme of the exhibition: Changes in Deoksugung (Gyeongung Palace) area, illuminating traditional and Western architecture, and confirming the aspects of the Imperial Palace of the Korean Empire
By providing opportunities and displaying related relics, videos, and models, including drawings and literature of the palace buildings of the Korean Empire
A Study on the Architecture of the Korean Empire
- Exhibition period: October 15, 2020 (Thu) to November 15, 2020 (Sun)
- Exhibition location: Seokjojeon Hall of Korea History 1st and 2nd floors (6 exhibition rooms)
2. View Information
- Internet reservation: Application for reservation at Deoksugung Palace website from 9 a.m. on October 13, 2020 (Tue) (viewing Seokjojeon Special Exhibition)

- Meeting information: A total of 8 times per day / A total of 40 people can attend each session (up to 2 people can make a reservation per person)
☞ If the number of pre-bookings per session is less than 40, less than 40 people can participate in the field. However, you can enter 20 minutes after the start of the round.
♦ To enter Deoksugung Palace, you must purchase a separate admission ticket (1,000 won) at the main gate.

3, COVID-19-related visitor compliance points
- As a result of the fever test, people with high fever of 37.5 degrees or higher cannot enter.
- You cannot enter if you are not wearing a mask.
- Please maintain a safe distance (1~2M) between visitors.
- Please fill out the electronic access list (QR code) or handwritten book when entering.
