22nd recruitment guidelines for our palace guard
(G)Rediscovery of Korea is a cultural heritage civic group that knows, finds, and protects our cultural heritage to be passed on to future generations. We protect our precious cultural heritage and play a role in connecting the past and the future from the present by informing and interpreting the value and meaning of our culture based on the correct perception of history and culture.
▢ Our palace guard activities
- Explanation/monitoring/promotion/education/citizens' movement/social contribution activities, etc. of cultural heritage
- Main places of activity: Gyeongbokgung Palace / Changdeokgung Palace / Deoksugung Palace / Gyeonghuigung Palace / Jongmyo Shrine / Sungkyunkwan / Sajikdan / Hwandan / Royal Tomb of Joseon, etc
▢ Training application information
1. Recruitment period: December 3, 2019 (Tue) to December 20, 2019 (Fri)
2. Number of people recruited: 00 (document screening selection)
3. Subject to application: A person who agrees to the purpose of group activities as an adult and is interested in "volunteer activities related to cultural heritage"
(Preferential treatment for foreign language speakers: English, Japanese, Chinese)
4. Submission documents:
① One copy of the consent form for collecting and using personal information of our palace guardian's education application (attached file separately)
② One photo file (JPG) on the business card board (recently) Filmed within 6 months)
③ Submit the application in Korean file (hwp), (your name)

▢ an instructional guide
In order to become our palace keeper, you have to faithfully complete three months of basic education and six months of probationary activities to complete it.
1. Basic education
① Training period: January to March 2020 (refer to the basic training schedule)
② Training place: Lecture room on the 3rd floor of the Seoul Youth Center (Neulsol-gil)
③ Prerequisites: Those who are absent less than three times during the basic education period
(Three late or early leaveings shall be absent once, and two lectures shall be absent once a day.)
④ Launching ceremony: March 28, 2020 (Sat), time and place will be announced later
2. probationary activities
① Probation period: April to September 2020 (6 months and 24 weeks, bi-weekly activities)
② Activity hours: Friday and Saturday 10:00-17:00 every other week for each activity location
(Mid-week: Monday to Thursday, activities according to separate schedules)
③ Qualification for training: A person who has completed basic training and passed the standard of the number of days of attendance, written examination, and interview.
④ Completion conditions:
A) Our palace guard must comply with the operating rules
B) Attendance at least 10 probationary activities (not completed if you are absent from the workshop)
C) Three late and early leave times correspond to one absence
D) A person who has submitted all of the probationary journals, monitoring journals, manuals, and other questions
⑤ Payment of membership fees per month from the time of probationary activities (automatic payment of CMS)
⑥ Completion ceremony: September 26, 2020 (Sat), time and place will be announced later
