Old Palace Youth Culture School

The Cultural Heritage Administration, along with Korea's rediscovery and Seoul's KYC Woori Palace Gila Catch, operates the "Gungung Youth Culture School" at the four grand palaces and Jongmyo Shrine during the summer vacation. Reservations for the Gogung Youth Culture School are made through the integrated reservation system (http://cha.it-1.co.kr/edu) , and on-site applications are not available. For more information, please refer to the event outline below and the appointment information. - Overview of the event - ○ Event Name: 2013 Gogung Youth Culture School ○ Period: July 23rd (Tue) to August 17th (Sat), 2013, 4 weeks, 4 grand palaces and Jongmyo 4 times each ○ Time: 9:30-11:30 (Total 2 hours) ○ Reservation period: 7.8th (Mon) 13:00 to 8.9 (Fri) 18:00 ○ Integrated reservation: http://cha.it-1.co.kr/edu) Gungbokgung Palace / Reservation system for each, Secondary class ○ Participation fee: Free (parents enter after purchasing a palace ticket) ○ Education content: Theory and field trips on the history and major cultural heritage of each palace ※ Field trips can be changed indoors in case of rain. ○ Certificate: Issued from the Internet reservation system after participating in the Gogung Youth Culture School ○ Preparation: Writing instruments (textbooks are paid), hats, umbrellas, water, etc. ※ As resident registration numbers cannot be collected and used due to the revision of the Information and Communication Network Act on August 18, 2012, I-pin is used as an alternative authentication method. If you don't have an eye pin, make sure to get an eye pin in advance and make a reservation. (You can't authenticate yourself by other methods than the eye pin.)
