Deoksugung Palace will host "Along with the Nouns in Jeonggwanheon" at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 16, and 23, inviting cultural celebrities to listen to lectures and have conversations.
The Deoksugung Palace Management Office invites celebrities every spring and fall to hold humanities lectures at Jeonggwanheon, where Emperor Gojong enjoyed tea and enjoyed banquets, and is receiving enthusiastic responses every time for its elegant atmosphere.
On May 9, Kim Dae-sik, a professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and a scientist who introduces science to the public in a fun and easy-to-understand manner, will give a lecture titled "The Future of Love."
On the 16th, there will be lectures by Park Woong-hyun, the author and advertiser of <Book is Axe>, which contains unique creativity and sensitivity, and through this lecture, Park Woong-hyun will talk about what humanities mean to the daily lives of ordinary people.
Finally, on the 23rd, architect Yoo Hyun-joon, who recently showed an in-depth insight into architecture and human relations through media, will think about how the modern city space we create and live in moves and influences people.
The lecture will consist of about 90 minutes of lectures and conversations with the audience, and after the lecture, a handwritten autograph session will be held for the audience who bring the instructor's books, and coffee and snacks will be provided to participants under the sponsorship of Starbucks Coffee Korea (CEO Lee Seok-gu).
