Introduction to the 3rd Royal Culture Festival (2017.4.28-5.7)

The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation will hold the 3rd Royal Cultural Festival, a cultural heritage utilization festival based on the site characteristics and historical background of the palace, at the 4 Grand Palace and Jongmyo Shrine from April 28 (Fri) to May 7 (Sun).

In particular, this year marks the 120th anniversary of the declaration of the Korean Empire, Deoksugung Palace will present various programs under the theme of "The Korean Empire" during the 3rd Royal Culture Festival. During the festival, you can enjoy the Korean Emperor's enthronement ceremony - The Dream of the Korean Empire, a diplomatic reception between Emperor Gojong and a foreign corporation, the Korean Empire and Gabaecha, where you can enjoy coffee that King Gojong loved.

Also, it is open from April 28th (Fri) to May 7th (Sun) without any holidays.
