Lunar New Year's Day folk games, New Year's greetings to parents

The Changgyeonggung Palace Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration will hold a New Year's bow to Lunar New Year's parents (January 26 and 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) event this year, following last year's Lunar New Year's Day.

During the Lunar New Year holiday, it will be a time to strengthen family harmony and wish each other a happy new year by exchanging good words with New Year's wishes through a New Year's greeting event to parents or seniors at Tongmyeongjeon, the center of the Changgyeonggung civil war. In addition, as in last year, it will be a good opportunity to learn the right New Year's bow by teaching children the right New Year's bow etiquette. Parents who participate in the New Year's celebration will be given a small souvenir (lucky bag and lucky bag-shaped cell phone strap) that can be given to children as a substitute for New Year's money.

In addition, traditional playgrounds (January 25-27, top-kicking, jegichagi, tuho nori, yut nori, etc.) were set up in the front yard of Tongmyeongjeon and Yanghwadang so that families can enjoy the Lunar New Year holiday at the old palace.
