Information on application for a tour course in the humanities in the palace in the second half of 2016

The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation are running humanities lectures as follows to find out precious cultural heritages through high-quality palace lecture programs. I hope many interested people will participate.

I. Program information

◦ Program name: 2016 Palace Humanities Tour Lecture (second half)

◦ Place: Changgyeonggung Palace Tongmyeongjeon Hall

◦ Target: Koreans / Recruitment on a first-come, first-served basis

◦ Contents: Royal Women of Joseon

◦ Recruitment number: 50 people per session

- September 29 (Thu): 14:00-16:00 Royal Women and Politics: Convergence Clean / Lim Hye-ryeon (Foreign Professor at the National Military Nursing Academy)

- September 30 (Fri): 14:00-16:00 Living as the Queen of Joseon / Jeong Hae-eun (Chief Researcher of the Korean Studies Institute)

- October 1st (Sat): 14:00 - 16:00 Royal Women's Clothing / Park Hyun-joo (Director of Hanbok Technology Promotion Agency)

- October 2nd (Sunday): 14:00-16:00 Queen Jeong Soon and Hyegyeonggung Palace / Jeong Hae-deuk (Professor of Korean History at Hanshin University)

◦ How to apply

1. Apply from Naver Reservation Page

- Select the course you want and click on the reservation (participation fee is free)

- Enter after confirming the reservation at the site on the day of the lecture

2. Applicants who are unable to apply on the reservation page should fill out the application form below and apply by fax or e-mail.

3. Applicants will be registered on the preliminary list after the first-come-first-served application deadline.

※ Each palace can apply and participate only once
