Announcement of the operation of the National Palace Youth Culture School in 2015
[Announcement on the website of the 2015 Gogung Youth Culture School]
Along with the rediscovery of Korea and the breathing of our culture, the Cultural Heritage Administration operates the "Gungo Youth Culture School" at the four major palaces and Jongmyo Shrine for elementary school students during the summer vacation.
Reservations for the "Gungo Youth Culture School" are only made on the online reservation page (http://chaedu.org ), and on-site applications are not accepted.

- Event Overview -
○ Name of the event: 2015 Gogung Youth Culture School
○ Operation period: July 28th (Tue) to August 22nd (Sat), 2015 A total of 4 weeks / 4 times each at the Grand Palace and Jongmyo Shrine
*It will be held normally on Liberation Day on August 15th (Sat).
○ Operating hours: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (2 hours in total)
○ Day of operation by palace: Changdeokgung Palace-Tuesday/Gyeongbokgung Palace-Su/Deoksugung Palace-Thursday/Changgyeonggung Palace-Geum/Jongmyo-Sat
○ Target Participants: 3rd grade in elementary school~6th grade
*Secondary classes have not been operated since 2014.
○ Class composition: 2 classes in total, lower grades (3rd to 4th graders in elementary school) and upper grades (5th to 6th graders in elementary school)
○ Participation fee: Free
*After making a reservation, print out the "reservation confirmation card" and free of charge only for children confirmed at the registration place on the same day
* Parents can enter after purchasing a palace ticket
○ Education Content: Theory and Field Experience Study on History and Major Cultural Heritage by Palace
*In case of rain, field trips may be changed to indoors.
○ Certificate of completion: After participating in the Gogung Youth Culture School, it can be issued through the Internet reservation system
○ Supplies: Writing instruments (textbooks are provided on-site on the day), hats, umbrellas, etc

○ Reservation period: July 20th (Monday) 1pm to August 21st (Friday) 6pm
○ Reservation method: First-come, first-served application through the Internet reservation system (http://chaedu.org )
*Schedule all rounds at the same time.
*Access the reservation site (reservation) → (click child registration or click in the calendar) Mobile phone identity authentication → Child registration (first time after authentication). Automatically enter your child's information when accessing it afterwards)→Select reservation date/child selection → Complete reservation and print reservation confirmation certificate
○ Other:
1. In principle, parents should apply after identifying themselves. Self-authentication is conducted only by mobile phone authentication.
2. Up to two children can be booked per parent, and each child can make a reservation once for each palace. (Up to 2 people per person, 1 palace reservation is possible per person)
3. Please read the details of the attached file and proceed with the reservation so that there is no disadvantage.
4. Access to the reservation site may be unstable on the first day of reservation due to the large number of applicants who wish to participate in the training, and reservations may be closed early. Please understand this.
