Introduction to the 2013 Palace Youth Culture School

The Cultural Heritage Administration, along with Korea's rediscovery and Seoul's KYC Woori Palace Guillajabi, operates the "Gungung Youth Culture School" at the four grand palaces and Jongmyo Shrine for teenagers during the summer vacation.

Reservations for the "Gungo Youth Culture School" are made through the integrated reservation system (http://cha.it-1.co.kr/edu) , and on-site applications are not available.

- Event Overview -

○ Event Name: 2013 Gogung Youth Culture School

○ Period: July 23, 2013 (Tue) to August 17, 2013 (Sat), 4 weeks in total, 4 times each of the 4 Grand Palace and Jongmyo Shrine

○ Time: 9:30-11:30 (total 2 hours)

○ Reservation period: July 8 (Mon) 13:00 to August 9 (Fri) 18:00

○ Operating day: Gyeongbokgung Palace-Su / Changdeokgung Palace-Hwa / Changgyeonggung Palace-Geum / Deoksugung Palace-Thu / Jongmyo-Sat

○ Participants: 3rd grade of elementary school to 3rd grade of middle school

○ Class composition: 3rd to 4th grade in elementary school, 5th to 6th grade in elementary school, the middle class

○ Participation fee: Free (Parents enter after purchasing a palace ticket)

○ Education Content: Theory and Field Experience Study on the History and Major Cultural Heritage of Palace

※The field trip may be changed to indoors in case of rain.

○ Certificate of completion: Issued from the Internet reservation system after participating in the Gogung Youth Culture School

○ Supplies: Writing instruments (textbooks are provided), hats, umbrellas, water, etc

※ With the enforcement of the amendment to the Information and Communication Network Act on August 18, 2012, the collection and use of resident registration numbers was facilitated

As it is impossible, we will conduct self-certification with the alternative authentication method, i-pin.

If you don't have an eye pin, make sure to get an eye pin in advance and make a reservation
