Enjoying Spring Flowers at the Palace

The Changgyeonggung Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Cho Song-rae) will hold a "Spring Flower Appreciation at the Palace" event from April 5 to 24 at Changgyeonggung Palace, a palace of filial piety founded by King Seongjong to prepare for the three.

On the first day of the event, on April 5 (Arbor Day), visitors will be given the opportunity to plant golden cyst seedlings and take the planted seedlings with them. During this period, you can see the brightness of traditional palace trees such as ginger and cornelian oil, which bloom first in spring, as well as the queen cherry blossom, azalea and plum trees. In addition, you can enjoy a feast of spring flowers at the old palace through cherry trees and peonies decorated with beautiful flowers behind the old building, which is a traditional landscape style.

In addition, Korea's first Western-style greenhouse, Changgyeonggung Daehotsil (Registered Cultural Property No. 83), displays wild flowers blooming in spring, natural monuments, and photos of Changgyeonggung's spring flowers taken by professional photographers.
