Enjoying Spring Flowers at the Palace

The Changgyeonggung Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Lee Man-hee) will hold a spring flower event from March 27 (Sat) to April 11 (Sun) at the Changgyeonggung Palace of Hyo, which was founded by King Seongjong to prepare for the three.

During this period, you can enjoy the beautiful and bright spring at the Palace through the Queen Cherry Blossom Tree, the ginger tree that blooms first in spring, Sansuyu, azalea and plum trees that bloom first before the leaves, and cherry trees and peonies behind the traditional landscape.

On the first day of the event, cultural property volunteer groups and employees will conduct spring cleaning for the spring refurbishment of Changgyeonggung Palace, and on March 28 (Sun), visitors will be able to plant bellflower seedlings this year, following last year's grandmother flowers.

In addition, in Changgyeonggung Daehonsil (Registered Cultural Heritage No. 83), Korea's first Western-style greenhouse, including wild flowers blooming in spring such as falcones and golden cypresses, will display photos of old buildings and spring flowers taken by professional artists.
