Changdeokgung plum tea making event!

- June 18th in the courtyard in front of Nakseonjae -

On June 18, the Changdeokgung Palace Management Office (Director Ahn Jung-yeol) of the Cultural Heritage Administration will hold a plum tea making event using plum harvested from plum trees in front of Nakseonjae Pass.

Plum is a representative alkaline food that removes anxiety and insomnia caused by acidification of the body, while affecting the digestive system with its unique sour taste, which is effective for excessive stomach acid and indigestion, and prevents food poisoning.

At the beginning of summer, if you come to Changdeokgung Palace, you can experience making plum tea using plum harvested this year, and you can also taste plum tea that was soaked last year and aged deliciously for a year.

In addition, you will have time to listen to interesting stories about the pharmacological action and cultivation process of plum from Kim Jung-ae, a plum expert.

The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on June 18 (Thursday), and those wishing to participate in the event can call the Changdeokgung Palace Management Office (limited to 50 people)
