The Changdeok Palace Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Ahn Jung-yeol) will hold rice planting events at Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., the Rural Development Administration, and Okryucheon Cheonguijeong on June 3.

During the Joseon Dynasty, there was a ritual that the king personally farmed and set an example to the people, and this event, which was reproduced to feel the king's heart and nostalgia of the monarchy, will give visitors a good time. In addition, rice varieties are planned to be exhibited to enhance understanding of our agricultural technology and rural culture, and various rice varieties are expected to be displayed in the area of Okryucheon Stream after the event to provide special enjoyment to visitors.

Only reservations for the special viewing of Okryucheon Stream in the morning of the day can attend the rice planting event.
