Changdeokgung Palace Court Yeonhyang Yeongyeongdang Jang Jin-rye Reproduced (Wednesday, November 11)
The Changdeokgung Management Office of the Palace Relics Headquarters of the Cultural Heritage Administration and the World Institute of National Dance (Director Heo Young-il) will perform "Janggyeongdang Yeongrye of Joseon Sunjo Muja Year" based on Prince Hyo Myung's 1828 royal incense at Yeongyeongdang.
The 6th Yeongyeongdang Jindongrye Restoration Performance is adding interest in the fact that 12 relatives who were not seen in the 1st to 5th restoration performances appear.
*"Jinjakrye" refers to a ceremony in which officials post alcohol and food to the king on a special day of the royal family. "Joseon Sunjo Muja Year Yeongyeongdang Jin Jang Jeungrye" is a royal feast organized by Crown Prince Hyomyeong to celebrate the 40th birthday of his mother, Queen Sunwon (1789-1857, Sunjobi) in the year of Sunjo Muja (June of the lunar calendar in 1828.
To respond to COVID-19, this performance will be broadcast live only online, not by inviting ordinary visitors.
