Changdeokgung Palace Autumn Rice Crop Event Notification (September 21, 11:00, Okryucheon Cheonguijeong)

Here is the schedule of Changdeokgung Palace's autumn rice harvesting event.

Please come to our Changdeokgung Palace Sponsor (Royal Garden, Okryucheon Cheonguijeong) to see the exhibition of rice varieties and take the heart of the monarch who cares about the people of the Joseon Dynasty.

- 09.21 (Thu) Changdeokgung Okryucheon Cheonguijeong Rice Cutting Event at 11 a.m

The Changdeok Palace Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Lee Moon-gap) will hold a rice harvesting event at Okryucheon Cheonguijeong on September 21st (Thursday) with the Rural Development Administration.

Rice produced in May has already paid off through seasonal changes in the strict space in the palace, preparing for a rich autumn.  The rice variety to be harvested this time is Jowun Rice (a new high-quality early-growing variety fostered by the Rural Development Administration), and the king's heart, which wanted to count the hard work and naive agricultural heart of the people outside the palace, will be an opportunity for many living in the present.

We ask for your participation and interest.

The event starts at 11 a.m., and I think it is a good opportunity to experience cutting rice and exhibitions of rice varieties in cooperation with the Rural Development Administration, and to enjoy food and Pungmul.
