Changdeokgung Palace is divided into the palace pavilion area and the patronage special viewing area.

Free viewing of the Lunar New Year is only available in the palace pavilion area.

Sponsored special viewing areas are special protection zones, focusing on the protection of cultural assets and the preservation of natural ecology

This is to inform you that it is operated as a limited viewing.

º On the day of the Lunar New Year: January 28, 2017 (Sat) Palace pavilion free of charge (excluding special support viewing)

설 Open normally during the Lunar New Year holiday (1.27-1.30)

(The palace pavilion area will not operate regular commentary from January 28th.)

※ Regular commentary is normally operated for special viewing of sponsorship

2017 2017 Winter Travel Week (1.14-1.30, 17 days)

50% discount on admission fees for Korean visitors to the palace pavilion area

※ Special viewing of sponsorship, excluding duplicate discounts for foreigners, local residents, and persons eligible for discounts

→ 50% discount on admission fees during the Lunar New Year holiday, excluding Lunar New Year's Day
