Yesterday's Poetry Photo Exhibition (Reading the King's Heart in Poetry and Looking at Photographs)
During the 2016 Royal Culture Festival, which will be held under the theme of "Today, Meet the Palace," Changdeokgung Injeongjeon will hold a photo exhibition of yesterday's poetry. Eoje-si refers to a poem written by 27 kings over the 500 years of the Joseon Dynasty, thinking about the country and the people, or a poem with seven words. In particular, Taejong, Seongjong, Yeonsan-gun, Sukjong, Yeongjo, and Jeongjo were proficient in poetry as professional poets, and yesterday's poem, which contains the king's troubles, anguish, and hearts for the people, is our brilliant documentary cultural heritage. The Palace Culture Festival displays these yesterday's poems with photos of professional photographers. All of the 60 photographs we are showing are from inside the palace and outside the palace. Looking outside the palace, you can feel the king's heart and gaze that worried about the country. Please pay a lot of attention to the cultural heritage utilization festival that creatively reinterprets court culture based on the location and historicality of the palace.
