First of all, during the 1st Royal Culture Festival (5.2.-10), where you can enjoy the essence of high-quality royal culture during the Joseon Dynasty, the 4 major palaces and Jongmyo Shrine are fully opened without holidays, so you can enjoy the various attractions held in the palace. In particular, Jongmyo Shrine, which is usually operated on a pre-booking system, is converted to free viewing, so you can enter at any time you want. In addition, on Children's Day (5.5), children under the sixth grade of elementary school (12 years old) and two accompanying families can enter the four major palaces (excluding special tours such as Changdeokgung Palace), Jongmyo, Joseon Royal Tomb (including King Sejong's Tomb), Hyeonchungsa, and 7 hundred guns, so the whole family can visit together and have a fun and beneficial Children's Day. In addition, during the last week of May (5.23-25), the four palaces, Jongmyo Shrine, Joseon Royal Tomb (including King Sejong's tomb), Hyeonchungsa Temple, and Chilbaek's Gun are operated without holidays.
