2014 Gung Youth Culture School Notification
For the summer vacation, the "Gungo Youth Culture School" for elementary school students will be opened and operated from the 22nd to August 16th. The "Gungung Youth Culture School," which will be held at Korea's representative cultural heritage, will provide theoretical lectures, field trips, and hands-on learning on the history, events, figures, and court culture of the target palace for four weeks from July 22. □ Participants: 3rd to 6th graders of elementary school □ Participation method: Internet reservation on a first-come, first-served basis (no on-site application) From 1 p.m. on July 7th (Monday) to http://edu.cha-res.net □ Operation period/time: 7.22nd (Tue) to 8.16th (Sat) / 09:30-11:30 (2 hours) □ Changdeokgung Palace will be held every Tuesday. The Palace Youth Culture School has been held every summer vacation since 1989 so that teenagers can immediately know the history of the palace and experience the palace culture, and it is the only customized program for teenagers in the palace. Participants will completely abolish secondary classes, which have been reduced every year due to low participation rates, increase opportunities for elementary school students from third to sixth graders, and one student can participate in all four palaces and Jongmyo as in last year, but the number of participations by palace is limited to one. In addition, a new "cultural heritage 3.0 consumer-tailored curriculum and textbooks" will be developed to induce the interest and interest of participating elementary school students and to learn the ancient palace easily and interestingly, and differentiated education will be conducted according to the 25-year tradition.
