Changdeokgung Palace Fruit Preview Event!

Changdeokgung Palace Fruit Preview Event!

- From June 10th to 12th, near the Bulomun Gate sponsored by Changdeokgung Palace -

In June, the Changdeok Palace Management Office of the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Ahn Jung-yeol) will provide visitors with the fruits of the palace near the Natural Monument No. 471 Mulberry Tree, located near the palace's patronage.

During the Joseon Dynasty, there was a record that fruit trees were planted in the palace. The king talked about the importance of silkworming in Seungjeongwon, the queen personally planted mulberry trees, and Munjong planted cherry trees for his father Sejong, who loved cherry.

Fruit such as mulberry or cherry is not widely known to the public, so it can be approached as a memory for the elderly to reminisce about the past, and as an interest in unfamiliar fruits that were usually difficult to taste for the younger generation. Have a good time with your acquaintances, tasting your lips and fresh cherries that turned black with mulberry.

This year's palace fruit tasting event will be offered from 13:00 to 16:00 on June 10 to 12 in time for the ripening of the fruit, and anyone who visits Changdeokgung Palace can taste it.

[Oh my god]
