Changdeokgung Palace Cheonguijeong Rice Cutting Event and Traditional Local Food Exhibition Guide

Along with the Rural Development Administration, the Cultural Heritage Administration (Director Kim Chan) will hold a Cheonguijeong rice cutting event and an exhibition of traditional local foods on October 4 at the back of Changdeokgung Palace. This rice-cutting event is an event to harvest our excellent varieties of rice planted in May, and it is an event to convey the king's heart to us who live in the present, who wanted to count the hard work and pure Nongshim of the people outside the palace in a strict space called the palace. The event will be attended by cultural heritage guardians, traditional Korean food-related organizations, and diplomatic envoys in Korea to awaken the importance of farming. Traditional local food will also be displayed to promote interest and excellence in Korean traditional food at beautiful pavilions such as Taegukjeong. Among the special tours sponsored by Changdeokgung Palace on the same day, the rice cutting event will be available at 11 a.m. (10 a.m. for sponsorship), and the exhibition of traditional local food will be available all day after 11 a.m.
